"In April 2015 while vacationing in Playa Del Carmen we reached out to Irene Soto to discuss the possibility of purchasing an investment property. Irene was able to quickly discern what properties would match our needs and provided us with a property that matched those needs perfectly.
Upon returning to the USA we asked her to proceed on our behalf in the purchase of the property. This was a very challenging purchase as there were four countries involved. My husband and I are Canadians living in the USA. The sellers were a couple living in Spain. There were significant challenges required on the part of Irene. She had to provide us with not just the steps that were required but also work as a liaison between all parties involved due to the language barriers. She always had to be cognizant that our money needed to be brought from Canada to the USA and then forwarded to Mexico and ultimately made available to transfer to Spain. Multiple government agencies and banks were involved in this process which at times made it very daunting. Irene was with us every step of the way and provided us with support and guidance throughout the purchase process.
Once the purchase of the condo was completed Irene continued to work on our behalf and reached out to a highly regarded Property Manager on our behalf. We are very impressed with this Property Manager and have contracted her to manage the condo for us. This would not have been possible without Irene’s diligence, perseverance and willingness to expand the role of realtor to help us become the very proud owners of an investment property in Playacar that we plan on not just renting out but also using as a family for many years to come.
